The adidas Originals Arsenal collection for 24/25 sees a range of track tops, bottoms, tee-shirts, hoodies and special pair of Gazelles, all presented in co-ordinated shades of blues and reds, topped off, of course, by the Trefoil logo, which is paired up with the Gunners’ stripped back cannon crest.
I have been aproached by photographers' agency AtTrayler to work in collaboration with award-winning Photographer Lewis Khan on a campaign for the Adidas X Arsenal Football Club featuring retro designs for their 2024/2025 originals collection featuring Arsenal Squad Players William Saliba, Gabriel Martinelli and Jurrien Timber
The project consisted in a series of relaxed images featuring players wearing the garments, to be used on the official Arsenal store, on social media and distributed to the press.
My work consisted in correcting colours for the clothes, so the fabric matched exactly the real life colour and feel of the garments, removing unwanted elements from the frame (stains, worn out décor etc... These shots were taken in a real environment, not a studio)
I was also tasked with replacing the logo in all the shirts (the collection uses vintage logos for both the brands and the original shirts had the traditional Arsenal logo instead), modifying the colours for all the trainers as a new colour was introduced after the shooting took place, and light skin retouching.
See the result of the trainers colour change below
